School Tours of Adaland, settled in 1807, are available for students in grades 5 through 9. during April, May, September, and October when arranged in advance.

Tours include costumed interpreters at each site: a history of the 1870 Mansion House and the 1850 Barn (adjusted for

grade level); an overview of life on the farm in pre and post Civil War times; a discussion of tools and crops, crafts/toy demonstrations; and games, outdoor cooking, and candle making if time permits. The cost is $3.00 per student. Crafts lessons can also be provided at a cost per student with special scheduling.

Accommodations are handicapped accessible and include public restrooms and water at both the house and the barn and a covered eating area at the barn.
