Events can be scheduled during the Christmas holidays, the Blue and Gray Reunion, and other times throughout the year to use the house, barn, and/or grounds. Call for price quotes.

Luncheons and Teas Arrangements for private luncheons or evening dinners can be made to serve groups as large as fifty by the house caterer on any day. Call for more information or to make reservations. Prices start at $15.00 per person and vary according to the menu chosen. Several teas are also offered to the public throughout the season.

Conferences A private meeting room on the second floor, originally the judges’s law office, provides a elegant, comfortable setting for small groups of ten or less. Arrangements can be made for meals and refreshments if needed. Larger conferences (up to 40 people) can meet in the double dining rooms on the first floor of the house.

Christmas This season at Adaland features decorated trees, twinkling lights in the house and on the porches, wreathes on the windows and special decorations each year. The season begins November 15 and ends on December 31. Each year a Children’s Tea, an afternoon Christmas buffet and an evening buffet are open to the public. The nearby town of Philippi features a Christmas parade, street decorations, special events and the local college music department holds a Christmas concert. Dinners for organizations and businesses can also be scheduled.
